Villa Luna

Set into the hillside above Lurin, Villa Luna enjoys one of those positions that makes St. Barts feel wonderfully effortless. Gustavia is only a few minutes away, as are the beaches of Gouverneur and Shell Beach, yet the villa feels comfortably removed from the island’s busier rhythm. The house has been designed around this outlook. Natural light fills the main living space, which opens almost entirely onto the terrace and can be left open to the breeze or enclosed and air-conditioned when preferred. Alongside it, the contemporary kitchen is fully equipped, with a generous central island that naturally becomes a gathering place throughout the day.

Much of life at Villa Luna takes place outdoors. The infinity pool sits at the edge of the terrace, seemingly extending towards the sea, surrounded by loungers and several places to settle in for the afternoon. A shaded gazebo provides a quieter corner away from the sun, while the outdoor lounge is an ideal spot for an aperitif as the light begins to soften.

Under the covered terrace, a dining area and barbecue make long lunches and relaxed dinners particularly easy. As evening approaches, the western outlook comes into its own, with uninterrupted views of the sunset over the ocean.

Villa Luna has four air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, television and safe. Three are located on the main level, including one that can be arranged as a twin room on request. The principal suite occupies the lower level, offering greater privacy together with its own terrace and beautiful views across the sea.

With its open spaces, generous terraces and close connection to the ocean, Villa Luna is particularly well suited to families or friends looking for an easy-going St. Barts stay. Days can move naturally between the pool and the beach, afternoons in the shade and evenings overlooking the Caribbean — while Gustavia remains just minutes away.
