Exceptional stays begin with trusted relationships and thoughtful advice.

Thierry Journiac

Founder and CEO

Over the past 25 years, Thierry has founded several companies specialising in acquisition project management, sales and the development of exceptional properties.

Having rented private homes on numerous occasions with family and friends, he witnessed first-hand the rapid growth of this relatively new industry, driven by an increasing number of affluent travellers moving away from traditional four- and five-star hotels in favour of private villas and chalets offering hotel-level services, greater privacy and a more personalised experience.

An entrepreneur with a passion for beautiful homes and hospitality, Thierry founded Boutiq Private Hospitality Group in Geneva in 2020, with the ambition of offering discerning clients a collection of exceptional homes for their holidays — but with a different philosophy.

Rather than following the model of the countless platforms offering hundreds of properties they may know little about, Boutiq Private Hospitality Group deliberately focuses on a limited and highly curated collection. Every property is carefully audited by its teams, not only for the intrinsic quality of the home and its location, but above all for the excellence of the hospitality and services provided on site.

As the private hospitality industry continues to grow rapidly, Thierry is keen to point out that a high price tag or beautiful photographs are no guarantee of an exceptional stay. This is where the expertise of true hospitality specialists makes the difference: understanding each client’s individual needs, matching them with the right home, and ensuring that the hospitality services surrounding their stay meet the same exacting standards.

Layla Aiupova

Layla Aiupova

Experience Manager

After several years in the hotel industry, Layla chose to move into private hospitality, allowing her to offer guests a more personal and tailored approach.

As an Experience Manager, Layla is involved from the very first stages of each stay enquiry. Rather than simply presenting a catalogue of beautiful properties, she takes the time to understand each client’s needs and selects the home that best reflects their vision for their holiday. She then arranges and coordinates every aspect of the stay, ensuring that the experience is both seamless and memorable.

Layla also contributes to the development of Boutiq Private Hospitality Group’s portfolio by identifying properties that meet the company’s exacting standards. Each home is carefully assessed, with equal, if not greater, attention given to the hospitality services that accompany it, ensuring that the collection remains highly selective.

What Layla particularly values about her role is the relationship she builds with clients over time. Looking after the same families season after season, across different destinations, allows her to develop a deeper understanding of their preferences, anticipate their expectations and create an increasingly seamless and personalised experience with every stay.

Inga Clataud

Inga Clataud

Administration Manager

With 17 years of experience in high-end hotels, Inga brings an in-depth understanding of both the operational side of the industry and the expectations of discerning guests.

As Administration Manager, she ensures that, once clients have chosen their stay, the entire booking process is as smooth and seamless as possible, coordinating all administrative details from confirmation to arrival and through to final account settlement and the return of security deposits after departure.

Passionate about hands-on hospitality and personal interaction with guests, Inga’s role also extends beyond administration. She regularly takes part in welcoming our clients to the French Alps, where her extensive local experience and knowledge are particularly valuable.

She also contributes to the selection of homes for the Boutiq Private Hospitality Group collection, helping to ensure that each home — and the experience surrounding it — meets the standards expected by our clients.

Our values

Four principles, never negotiated

01

Discretion

We work for families who value their privacy. Nothing concerning an owner or a guest leaves the house.

02

Exacting standards

A written standard, measured and audited. What is not checked is not upheld.

03

Network

Direct access to the owners, the homes and the partners who matter, built stay after stay.

04

A passion for service

Attention to detail is not a method, it is a temperament. It is the first thing we hire for.

Our approach

The right places, the right people

Truly knowing a destination takes time. It is built through experience, trusted relationships and, above all, the right people on the ground.

Few destinations, but known properly: this is also why you will not find Boutiq Private Hospitality Group everywhere, nor thousands of properties in our collection. We choose to be present only in the destinations we genuinely know — those where we operate homes ourselves, or work with trusted local partners who share our standards and our vision of private hospitality.

Knowing what is right for you: knowing a destination is not only knowing its finest tables or its most exclusive addresses. It is knowing what suits you, when to experience it, and whom to trust to make it possible.
