Villa Ahava

Set among the tropical hills of Colombier, Villa Ahava is a four-bedroom contemporary retreat where sweeping ocean views and generous outdoor spaces set the tone for a wonderfully peaceful stay in St. Barth. Designed for up to eight guests, the villa feels both spacious and intimate, with the sea providing a spectacular backdrop throughout the property.

The main living area is bright, open and designed to flow naturally towards the terrace and pool. Beneath a high vaulted ceiling, comfortable sofas and armchairs form a generous lounge, complemented by contemporary artwork and a large HD screen. A second, more intimate sitting area sits just behind the main salon, providing a quieter corner to relax.

Alongside the living space, the fully equipped kitchen combines dark wood finishes with a large central island and bar seating. Open views and abundant natural light give the entire space an easy connection to its Caribbean surroundings.

Much of life at Villa Ahava takes place outdoors. A vast 300-square-metre deck extends in front of the house, centred around the heated swimming pool and opening towards the turquoise sea beyond. Below the pool, sun loungers are positioned directly towards the horizon, creating a particularly peaceful spot for long afternoons in the sun.

Beyond the main terrace, two secluded terraces are hidden within the property and reached along wooden pathways. These more private spaces offer their own panoramic viewpoints and quiet places to step away from the main house.

Under the covered section of the terrace, an outdoor dining area provides a natural setting for leisurely lunches and dinners, with an American-style barbecue close at hand. An adjoining outdoor lounge offers another place to gather, particularly as the trade winds begin to cool the air towards the end of the day.

The villa’s four bedrooms all open directly onto the front terrace, keeping the ocean and surrounding landscape constantly present. Each is furnished with a double bed and has its own ensuite bathroom, with one bedroom benefiting from a particularly generous outdoor shower. Pale tones, touches of turquoise and soft furnishings create a calm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the sleeping areas.

A fully equipped private fitness room completes the villa’s amenities for guests wishing to maintain their routine during their stay.
